Daredevil Dog Drops 200 Ft. Gets Only a Bruise |
January 30, 2001 Dorset, UK They now call him "the Miracle Dog"—with good reason. Bruiser, a 15-year-old terrier from Battersea, South London, survived a 200-foot tumble over the cliff near Lulworth Cove, emerging with only some minor cuts and bumps to show for it.
"After bouncing off a ledge he fell on to pebbles below. Mark [Goodman] dashed down the cliff and I followed, even though I thought he'd be already dead. I was amazed when I saw Mark carrying Bruiser wrapped up in his jacket."

Mr. Hendrick added, "It's unbelievable. I honestly thought he was a goner." Horrified witnesses were also stunned to see the dog alive and well. Bruiser was taken to see a local vet who found nothing more than a few bruises and a cut on one paw. Related articles: §§§
