UK's Scruffy Dog Contest: Thoroughbreds Need Not Apply

May 1, 2001 Hull, UK

Wags, put down that brush and shake those bows out of your fur.  We may have a job for you.

Seven Seas Pet and Animal Health Care is sponsoring the Scruffy Dog of the Year award, now accepting all entries within the UK.  The Hull-based group plans to select a winner after August 31, 2001.

Applicants are being asked to send in a photo (preferably on a bad hair day) and a 200-word explanation of "why this dog is so unkempt."

This fall, the winner will receive the Scruffy Dog of the Year trophy, along with £200 worth of holiday vouchers.

Entries should be sent to:

Sally Harrison,
Seven Seas Pet & Animal HealthCare
Hedon Road, Marfleet, Hull HU 9 5NJ

No Wags, you don't get bonus points for growling.
